Salma Hayek rang in the last year of her 50s in a sizzling red bikini.
The actress turned 59 years old on Sept. 2, and posted a picture of herself rocking a bright red two-piece while holding up a matching red drink.
Hayek appeared to be celebrating on a yacht, sporting sunglasses as she posed in front of a picturesque sunset on the ocean.
“59 trips around the sun and still dancing ☀️💃🏻,” she wrote on Instagram. “Cheers to all of you & thank you for the love 🎂🎉♥️.”
Hayek received birthday wishes from her famous friends, including Anthony Hopkins and Linda Evangelista.
“Happy birthday ♥️ We love you,” Hopkins commented.
Evangelista — who has a son with Hayek’s husband, French businessman François-Henri Pinault — commented, “♥️🎈♥️🎈♥️🎈♥️.”
Hayek is no stranger to dazzling her fans in a bikini. In May, she stunned as a cover star for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2025.
“I remember when I was young, a long, long time ago, I was always excited to see the Swimsuit Issue of Sports Illustrated, and [thinking] ‘Who’s going to be in it?’ Of course, I didn’t look like a model, so it never crossed my mind that one day I would be in it,” Hayek told the magazine.
“If somebody had told me I was gonna be in it at 58, I would have sent them to the madhouse, but the world has changed, and that’s exciting,” she continued.
Hayek said the iconic magazine was making a statement by putting her on the cover alongside younger stars like LSU gymnast and influencer Livvy Dunne, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles and model Lauren Chan.
“I could retire, but I don’t want to miss out on this time. I fought for it, you know, and I’ve been part of it, and I think it’s really remarkable that a magazine like Sports Illustrated [Swimsuit] says that it’s O.K., maybe even cool, to be past 50 and still be able to feel not just sexy, but for me, to be free and not be self-conscious of your body like you have to hide,” she said.
In April, she told People that her aim was not to try to look younger, but to look good at her age.
“I just want my husband to still go, ‘Wow’ when he looks at me,” she told the outlet. “I still want to feel good about the way I look, but not necessarily because I want to look 20. I’m okay. I’m more excited about being 50 and 60 and looking good at 50 and 60. It’s a different kind of beauty.”
