Miley Cyrus recently sat for an interview with The Cut, accompanied by her mom, Tish Cyrus, and sisters, Brandi and Noah. While conversing, Miley shared that she once got bad advice from her mom, Tish, which was to stick to a wrong man just because of his ‘hotness’. While she didn’t directly mention Liam’s name, people thought this was a slight jibe at him. Her mom, who was also present at the interview, didn’t react to the same, rather laughed it off by stating that, on the contrary, her daughter got to look at someone ‘frigging hot’. Miley could be quoted as saying:
“Mom’s always wanted me to stay with the wrong guy ’cause they’re hot.”

During the interview, Miley Cyrus revealed that she had to learn lessons on her own terms and unlearn what she had been taught or seen. The Flower singer further mentioned that it was a heartbreak that led her to see things differently and learn certain things, and as a result, she ended up with a person who respects her and also treats her well. She went on to add that she had to learn this the hard way, as her mom had taught it incorrectly. Miley could be quoted as saying:
“I ended up with a person who means a lot to me and treats me really well and respects me. I had to learn that the hard way because my mommy taught me the wrong way, and then I had to learn the right way by myself.”

It was in the same year that, in an interview with Joe Rogan, Miley Cyrus revealed that it wasn’t the breakup that hurt her the most, but rather the public scrutiny of her every move, which made her the villain of the story. She shared that she could accept the fact that the one whom she loved and vice versa wasn’t there anymore, but she couldn’t stand the fact of being vilified.
