Kartik Aaryan has steadily built his place in the Hindi film industry, moving from being an outsider to one of the most visible young stars today. Known for a string of commercial hits, the actor believes the reason people relate to him goes beyond his box office success.

In a recent interview, Kartik explained why he thinks audiences connect with his image and story. He said, “It’s definitely a strength. And it’s not manufactured. People have seen my journey outsider to insider, struggle se success tak. My film choices probably helped, but the relatability comes from something real. It’s imperfect and visible, and that creates hope and trust. That’s why brands connect to it. It’s not a strategy. It’s just my life. As long as it remains honest, I don’t mind being called relatable.”
Kartik also reflected on how he approaches his career with a mix of creativity and business sense. “Honestly, I can’t separate the two. They go hand in hand. Even when I pick a film, it’s not just about emotion or craft, there’s a business module in my head too. So yes, I’m an actor first. But I’m a businessman at the exact same time,” he added.
On the work front, Kartik has a packed lineup of projects. He is collaborating with filmmaker Anurag Basu on an untitled project that also stars Sreeleela. He is also headlining the fantasy entertainer Naagzilla, as well as reuniting with Ananya Panday for the romantic drama Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.
As he continues moving forward in the industry, Kartik’s comments highlight how he sees his journey not only as an actor shaping performances but also as someone conscious of the larger framework of the business.
