The Kelly Clarkson Show will be back with new episodes later this month, with production on season 7 starting next week at the show’s New York studio and the fall premiere set for Sept. 29.
The new season’s musician guests include Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Clarkson’s fellow American Idol alum David Archuleta, Sarah McLachlan, Mark Ronson and current Idol judge Lionel Richie. Other guests set for season 7: Emily Blunt, Marion Cotillard, Colin Farrell, Scarlett Johansson, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, Shonda Rhimes, Margot Robbie, Sylvester Stallone, Channing Tatum and Reese Witherspoon.
The season 7 premiere week will spotlight heroes who helped save victims of the devastating flood in Clarkson’s native Texas back in July.
And it wouldn’t be The Kelly Clarkson Show without the original American Idol-winning host’s Kellyoke covers, which will return for season 7. Backed by her band Y’All, Clarkson has so far performed more than 800 covers on the show.
The Universal Television-produced talk show — which debuted in September 2019 — has won 22 Daytime Emmy Awards over its six-season run, including four hosting wins for Clarkson herself (outstanding entertainment talk show host from 2020-2022 and outstanding talk show host in 2023). The Kelly Clarkson Show is syndicated nationally by NBCUniversal Syndication Studios; Alex Duda is showrunner; and Clarkson, Duda and Kareen Gunning serve as executive producers. In addition to her talk show, Clarkson is also in the midst of her Studio Sessions residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which kicked off July 11 in Las Vegas and has dates scheduled through November. Clarkson has had to postpone six shows of the residency so far — first calling off her original July 4-5 opening weekend due to vocal issues and then canceling four August dates due to ex-husband Brandon Blackstock’s death at age 48. Clarkson has two children with Blackstock: 11-year-old daughter River Rose and 9-year-old son Remy.
