BigXthaPlug lights up Billboard’s charts this week with multiple achievements on the lists dated Sept. 6. The rapper claims his first No. 1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart with “All the Way,” featuring Bailey Zimmerman, while its parent album, I Hope You’re Happy, launches in the top two on both the Top Rap Albums and Top Country Albums charts, and is the most-streamed rap album of the week.
“All the Way,” released and promoted through BigXthaPlug/United Masters, ascends from the runner-up rank to crown the Hot Rap Songs survey in its 21st chart week. For its coronation on the multi-metric chart, the song registered 13.9 million official streams, 1,000 sales downloads and 12.5 million radio airplay impressions in the United States for the tracking week of Aug. 22-28, according to Luminate, gains of 29%, 38% and 9%, respectively, compared with the previous week.
As the country-rap collaboration”All the Way” topped the Hot Country Songs chart upon its debut on the April 11, 2025, list, the single becomes the first track to have reached No. 1 on both Hot Country Songs and the Hot Rap Songs charts; the former list began in October 1958, while the latter premiered in April 1989.
The incumbent champ debuted at No. 3 on Hot Rap Songs, maintaining the rank for its first 11 weeks on the chart as Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s runaway hit “Luther” and Drake’s “Nokia” dominated the top two spots. “All the Way” has yet to exit the top five since its arrival and ousts “Luther” for the summit this week after the former champ’s unprecedented 33 nonconsecutive weeks in charge.
In needing 21 weeks to reach the summit of Hot Rap Songs, “All the Way” wraps the fifth-longest climb to No. 1. Here’s a recap of its related company:
Weeks to No. 1, Song, Artist, Date Reached No. 1
28, “Po Pimp,” Do or Die feat. Twista, Oct. 26, 1996
22, “Drank in My Cup,” Kirko Bangz, May 26, 2012
22, “Watch Me,” Silento, Aug. 8, 2015
22, “Big Energy,” Latto, April 9, 2022
21, “All the Way,” BigXthaPlug feat. Bailey Zimmerman, Sept. 6, 2025
As “All the Way” goes the distance on the Hot Rap Songs chart, its parent album, I Hope You’re Happy, opens at No. 2 on Top Rap Albums with 47,000 equivalent album units. The debut passes Take Care, which peaked at No. 3 last October, for the artist’s best showing on the chart.
I Hope You’re Happy also starts at No. 2 on the Top Country Albums chart and becomes only the third album to reach the top two spots on both Top Rap Albums and Top Country Albums since their co-existence beginning in 2004. It follows two Colt Ford projects: 2012’s Declaration of Independence, which topped the country chart and reached No. 2 on the rap side, while 2014’s Thanks for Listening reversed the results. (Country and rap albums are defined as those eligible or that have appeared on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and Top Rap Albums charts.)
On the all-genre Top Streaming Albums chart, I Hope You’re Happy launches at No. 3 behind Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem (No. 1) and the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack (No. 2).
Including “All the Way,” BigXthaPlug logs seven songs on the Hot Rap Songs chart. The chart-topper joins four debuts: “Box Me Up,” featuring Jelly Roll (No. 6), “Pray Hard,” featuring Luke Combs (No. 15), the Darius Rucker-assisted title track (No. 19) and “About You,” featuring Tucker Wetmore (No. 23). Plus, previous release “Hell at Night,” featuring Ella Langley jumps 6-3 in its third frame, while “Home,” featuring Shaboozey, returns at No. 17 for a third week on the chart.
