A report published by SCREEN has shared the fees charged by some contestants in the Bigg Boss 19 house. The report mentioned that Gaurav is the top-paid contestant, and then it is music composer, Amaal Mallik. The report mentioned that Amaal is the third-highest-paid contestant. Gaurav reportedly is taking Rs 17.5 lakh for a week to be in the Bigg Boss house. The source also mentioned that Gaurav’s everyday fee is around Rs. 2.5 lakh.
Well, other than this, Gaurav has reportedly also been offered a show on either Colours or Star after his Bigg Boss stint is completed. Gaurav had last won a cooking reality show, Celebrity MasterChef and was the last contestant to be locked inside the house. Gaurav, on an interesting note, has taken the sixth position by being one of the 10 highest-paid contestants in Bigg Boss’ history.
Gaurav Khanna charges more than what Amaal Mallik takes in the show
For the uninitiated, Pamela Anderson was the highest-paid contestant on Bigg Boss. She took Rs. 2.5 crores to appear for three days. TV actor, Karanveer Bohra, had reportedly taken Rs. 20 lakh every week for participating in Bigg Boss 12. Apart from Gaurav, Amaal has been one of the top three highest-paid contestants in the show. He reportedly takes Rs. 8.75 lakh for an entire week. Reportedly, his per-day fees in the Bigg Boss 19 house are around Rs. 1.25 lakh and on the other hand, Awez Darbar and Ashnoor Kaur are reportedly being paid around Rs. 6 lakhs. Reportedly, Pranit More and Mridul Tiwari are the least paid contestants in the show.
When Gaurav Khanna revealed on being the highest paid in Bigg Boss 19
Gaurav in the past addressed the rumours related to taking the highest remuneration for participating in Bigg Boss 19. The actor joked and said that the rumours may not be false entirely, and dodged the question by saying that the facts could be gossip or maybe false. Giving a diplomatic answer, Gaurav shared:
“People say a lot of things, and I don’t believe in hearsay. Also, I never judge an actor by the pay cheque he or she gets. It’s all about what you get on the table. I don’t even know who the contestants are, and we also don’t discuss money. So people can say whatever they want to say. My aim is to just do well in this season.”
Gaurav further had cleared that he was not taking part in Bigg Boss 19 for monetary matters. He shared that he would not do this show for financial stability. Gaurav revealed that he is a part of Bigg Boss 19 as he wants to understand the kind of person he is. He shared that as an actor, he likes to have different experiences.
