Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipa have been enjoying their marital life. The couple got married in December 2024 when he gave love another chance. He was earlier married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu after dating her for a long time. But they parted ways in October 2021. Recently, Sobhita shared a couple of pictures flaunting her cooking and calling it a human skill, and Naga Chaitanya took a dig at her.
Naga Chaitanya takes a dig at Sobhita Dhulipala
On September 2, 2025, Sobhita Dhulipala shared glimpses of her cooking on Instagram. The actress was seen cooking at an outdoor location where she was shooting. In the pictures, she was seen stirring a piping hot sambhar. She looked happiest as she stirred the spoon in the big vessel and smelled the fragrance. In another photo, she was seen cutting an onion. Sharing the photos, Sobhita wrote:

Another highlight of Sobhita’s post was how she used a mortar and pestle to grind up spices. However, it was her husband, Naga Chaitanya, who made sure to take a dig at her. He pointed out that he is still waiting to get a ‘taste’ of these skills. He commented, “Waiting to get a taste of these skills.” Soon, fans flooded the comment section with laughing emojis and rooting for Naga Chaitanya’s reply.
When Naga Chaitanya took a dig at Sobhita’s cooking skills
Earlier, in an interview with Vogue India, Naga Chaitanya made fun of Sobhita’s cooking skills. When they were asked who among them was a better cook, the two admitted that neither of them is skilled in the kitchen. However, Sobhita was quick to point out that her husband, Naga Chaitanya, makes hot chocolate every night for her. But Naga Chaitanya brushed off by calling it a basic human skill and not cooking. He said:
“That doesn’t come under cooking as such. Hot chocolate, coffee, all these aren’t cooking. It’s basic human skills that you don’t have.”

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got married in an intimate yet grand wedding ceremony at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The wedding was no less than honouring their elders and seeking blessings from Gods and Goddesses. The Tamil-Brahmin rituals that took place for eight hours made the celebration even more beautiful. However, it was Sobhita who radiated the Goddess Lakshmi vibes as she was decked up in gold from head to toe.
Sobhita also wore a Bullaki (specturm nose ring). She further styled her look with kundan choker in jalebi design, a mangoharam haar, which is common in South Indian jewellery, and a huge matar mala. Sobhita also styled her bridal look with a vaddanam (waist belt), which is a must-wear for a South Indian bride. She also picked a gold vankii (arm belt). Her look was furhter completed with Surya and Chandra motfis on her hair, which signifies the cosmic blessings and balance, ensuring harmony in the newly-wed couple’s life.
