    Bollywood’s fitness muse, Malaika Arora, never fails to inspire—and this time, she’s given her followers a no-nonsense way to tackle stubborn belly fat, needing nothing more than determination and a yoga mat. In a fresh Instagram video posted on September 1, 2025, she showcases a streamlined ab routine that delivers results without any fancy gear.

    Her caption sums it up succinctly, “Strong core, zero equipment – just your mat and these exercises.” These moves are crafted to light up your abs from every angle while bolstering core stability—and best of all, you don’t need any setup beyond a flat surface.

    Here are the four crunch variations she demonstrates:

    1.Knee to elbow crunch: Lying flat, lift your upper body into a crunch, bring your knees toward your chest and drive your elbows forward so they meet at centre. Aim for 12–15 reps per set, and repeat for three sets to focus on the lower abdomen.

    2.Boat pose crunch: Balance in a V-shape by lifting your torso and legs while extending your arms parallel to your shins. Pull your knees toward your chest and then extend back out. Do 12–15 reps across three sets to strengthen the obliques.

    3.Ankle tuck crunch: Lie flat with arms overhead; crunch up while bringing your knees to your chest and reaching out to touch your ankles. Complete 12–15 reps in three sets for a sculpted midsection.

    4.V-sit hold: On your back, lift both your torso and legs together, forming a V. Extend your arms in line with your legs and hold for 12–15 seconds, repeating for three sets to fully engage the core.

    Malaika Arora emphasizes that true core strength goes beyond aesthetics. With this simple, at-home routine, she offers an effective way to “fire up your abs” and finally break through that stubborn belly plateau.
