    Jacob Elordi appeared to get into a tense exchange with a Venice Film Festival official at the world premiere of his upcoming film, “Frankenstein.”

    An onlooker, who witnessed the heated moment Saturday, shared footage of the incident on TikTok Sunday.

    In the clip, the “Saltburn” star could be seen speaking to a man described by the fan as a “bodyguard” before Elordi started interacting with fans.

    “I’m going to take a picture right here,” the 28-year-old actor then told the festival staff member.

    After posing for several photos with attendees, Elordi turned back toward the official and said, “Don’t ever tell me what to do.”

    Reps for Elordi didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

    Despite the awkward exchange on the red carpet, the user who posted the video said the actor “was so nice” and “took photo[s] with everyone he can.” They added, “He is so sexy and nice.”

    Elordi’s appearance marked his first public event since his recent split from Olivia Jade Giannulli.

    In photos obtained by Page Six, the BAFTA-nominated actor rocked a traditional black suit with a bowtie at the iconic event.

    The “Euphoria” actor completed his sharp look with matching black shoes as he posed for photographers.

    Following the screening of Guillermo Del Toro’s “Frankenstein,” People reported the actor was “moved to tears” when he received a standing ovation that lasted 13 minutes, per a report published by Variety.

    A video shared by Variety on X showed Elordi hugging writer-director Del Toro and his co-star Mia Goth before looking out into the audience and bowing his head. 

    The standing ovation served as “the longest of the festival so far.”
