There has been constant speculation whether BTS member, Jimin and actor, Song Da-Eun are in a relationship or not. It was on August 31, 2025, when BigHit Music officially responded to the speculation surrounding both of them. For the longest time there has been gossip doing rounds that BTS’s Jimin is seeing Song Da-Eun a South Korean personality and the rumours are all true.

A TikTok video, originally posted by Song Da-Eun on August 27, 2025, went viral. The clip showed her waiting outside a lift in an apartment-like building before Jimin was seen. This fuelled more speculations related to their relationship. There were fans who were convinced that they were dating until BIGHIT Music issued a statement that read:
“Our company has refrained from making any statements until now in order to respect Jimin’s private life as well as the individual being mentioned in relation to it.”
BIGHIT MUSIC, in an official statement, revealed that initially, they did not choose to comment on the incident because they wanted to respect Jimin’s wishes. However, due to the existing rumours, they had to provide clarification. It was in 2022 when fans noticed that Da Eun’s social media activity did overlap with the private life of Jimin. He was also featured in one of Da Eun’s TikTok clips.
BIGHIT Music confirms that Jimin and Song Da-Eun are not in a relationship now
The agency put an end to all the speculations surrounding the Korean stars and strictly revealed that the artists’ reputations are being damaged. Jimin’s old interview statements related to love had also come on social media, but BIGHIT Music confirmed both dating in the past, as the strict note read:
“The artist and the individual in question were once acquainted with mutual affection in the past, but that was several years ago, and they are not in a relationship at present. We earnestly request that you refrain from any actions that could harm the individual who is being mentioned alongside the artist.”
The agency made a humble request to all fans to avoid any form of speculation and stressed that misinformation about the Korean stars was unacceptable. Well, it is interesting to note that at the moment neither Jimin nor Song Da-Eun have given any statement related to their personal life gossip.

It all began when Jimin’s elevator door opened, and he walked out and was stunned to see Song there. Jimin’s current home back then was Nine One Hannam. The agency further noted that speculations related to Jimin’s life have always surfaced, and rumours have not ceased. She had got scared seeing Jimin and reportedly asked him if he knew that she was coming, as Song shared that she had not told Jimin deliberately that she was coming. They shared that it was unavoidable to clarify the bare minimum facts. Song’s cryptic clip of being recognised by Jimin in his Seoul residence made fans believe that they had something in them and a source close to Allkpop shared:
“Most of the photos and videos Song Da-Eun uploaded were taken back then.”
