Reunited and it feels so good.
Jessica Simpson and her estranged husband, Eric Johnson, were spotted supporting the singer’s sister, Ashlee Simpson, on Friday night, further fueling reconciliation rumors between the two.
Video shared by TMZ showed the couple attempting to lay low while attending the opening show of Ashlee’s Vegas residency at Voltaire night club inside the Venetian hotel.
The two partied among a group of friends, but didn’t appear to engage in any PDA during the outing. At one point, they put some distance between themselves once Ashlee started performing, one TikTok video reveals.
Jessica and Ashlee’s parents, Joe and Tina Simpson, were also present at the concert.
The couple sparked reconciliation rumors on Friday evening when they were spotted boarding a flight out of Burbank, Calif., to Vegas together.
Video taken at the airport showed the “With You” hitmaker, 45, following her estranged husband, also 45, out onto the runway before taking to their seats on the plane.
Photos taken from inside the plane showed that they sat in the same row, but kept their distance with an open seat in between.
Simpson announced she and Johnson were “living separately” after 10 years of marriage in January, adding that they were navigating a “painful situation” in their relationship.
“Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family,” she told People in a statement.
The singer’s announcement came after months of speculation from fans who noted that Simpson hadn’t shared a photo featuring her husband on her social media profiles since 2023.
Earlier this month, Simpson hinted at the reason for their split in an interview with Parade as she talked about choosing to “love others through their mistakes.”
At this time, the status of Simpson’s relationship with Johnson remains unclear but the “Dukes of Hazzard” actress previously declared she was a “very single lady” when she opened up about her breakup in March.
“I was in a very intuitive state and I had asked some very personal questions on the home front and I found out that my world had been turned upside down and that life was now very different,” she said during her concert at the Luck Reunion music festival in Spicewood, Texas.
