    Russell & Bromley Name Billie Piper as First Campaign Face

    LONDON  British label Russell & Bromley has tapped actress and singer Billie Piper as the first celebrity campaign face in its 145-year history.

    Piper fronts the fall 2025 campaign, themed Rebellious Traditions, marking a new creative chapter for the brand. The campaign coincides with the debut collection under Daniel Beardsworth-Shaw, Russell & Bromley’s first creative director, who joined last year as part of the company’s five-year transformation plan aimed at sharpening its brand identity.

    “From her ’90s pop stardom to her acclaimed acting career, Billie is the definition of a modern British icon. She’s continually evolved while staying true to herself with confidence and authenticity,” said Beardsworth-Shaw in an interview. “Her charm and unfiltered edge perfectly capture the spirit of our ‘Rebellious Traditions’ campaign.” 

    The opening chapter, Cobblers, plays on the folk tale of the woman who lived in a shoe. Piper appears in vibrant, colorful looks alongside an oversized version of the Dalton Boot, one of the season’s hero styles. The shoe doubles as a cobbler’s workshop.

    “It’s a playful take on tradition, using an oversized boot as a cobbler’s shop. It nods to our craftsmanship, but in a fun, less conventional way,” Beardsworth-Shaw said.

    In November, Piper will return for the second chapter, House of Fab, timed to launch with the brand’s holiday party-shoe collection. In the campaign’s second iteration, the cobbler’s workshop will become a glamorous nightclub, celebrating a surreal theatrical world of reinvention. 

    Russell & Bromley is positioning the campaign as a bridge between heritage and modernity.

    “When you have such a rich history, pairing tradition with modernity becomes a natural evolution,” Beardsworth-Shaw added. “Whilst we’re often referred to as a heritage brand, we prefer to say we’re a brand with heritage — 140 years of craftsmanship, yes, but also moments of bold individuality. This campaign captures our evolution and a story untold, from fresh design language to archive influences, with Billie front and center.”
