The mutual love, admiration, and fun between them have now doubled as the famous pair welcomed their third child and a fourth member in their family. Despite their public life, the duo kept the news away from fans and quietly welcomed a new member to their household, which has now made their daughter Liberty an elder sister.

Cody Rhondes and Brandi, who are active on their social media handles, recently took to Instagram and announced the arrival of their second daughter, Leilani Ella Runnels. The couple shared the news on August 29, 2025, with a lovely glimpse of their baby’s tiny fingers entangled with Brandi’s finger, who held her daughter close in a tender moment. Sharing the picture, they penned:
“Welcome to the world, Leilani Ella Runnels. We are in love. Thank you, God, for answered prayers. Cody + Brandi + Libby + Lani = (Red Heart Emoji).”
Cody Rhones, who is now a proud girl dad, had re-shared the post. At the same time, he shared another adorable picture of the duo’s elder daughter, Liberty. The latter was dressed in a white little frock with a wonderful pink hat that read “Big Sister.” Soon, fans and the couple’s wrestling family joined in the celebrations online. One fan netizen pointed out how the fans have missed their pregnancy phase and penned, “Dang, we missed a month’s chapter. Congratulations.” While wrestler, Nattie Neidhart wrote, “Congratulations!!!!!! This is amazing!”. Even retired WWE star, Gail Kim-Irvine, expressed her surprise at the secret and commented:
“Wow, kept a little secret!”
How did Cody and Brandi Rhodes go from being WWE co-workers to husband and wife?
Cody Rhodes and Brandi’s whirlwind love story began back in 2011 when they both worked for WWE. The latter worked as a ring announcer during that time under the name ‘Eden Stiles’. On the other hand, Cody was already a prominent wrestler in the league. He was smitten by her and tried to persuade her multiple times to give him a chance.
Brandi, who was initially hesitant to date a coworker, finally agreed, and they began dating. Soon, the duo began to fall in love. In a later interview, Brandi mentioned that she knew he was ‘the one’ for her during their third date. The WWE wrestler popped the question in November 2012, and on September 12, 2013, they tied the knot at the Swan House in Atlanta. It marked the beginning beautiful journey that they shared with fans in their TV show, Rhodes to the Top. They welcomed their first daughter, Liberty Iris, in June 2021. Earlier this year, Cody shared with Today how he explained his unique profession to his daughter and said:
“I wasn’t thinking I would have to have this conversation this early with her, but we did, because I left the ring at Elimination Chamber, Travis Scott of all people put a very large mark on my face, and my eardrum was busted; she had a lot of concerns.”
