Jazan: Highest rainfall concentration
Jazan Region emerged as the most affected by the rainfall, particularly in Sanbah, a part of Abu Arish Governorate, where precipitation levels reached 35 mm, the highest recorded in the country during this period.Other specific measurements from Jazan include:
- Damad: 24 mm
- Abu Arish (outside Sanbah): 23.1 mm
- King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Airport: 19 mm
- Al-Rawdah: 17.8 mm
- Jazan Naval Air Squadron: 16.8 mm
These figures highlight a widespread and intense rainfall pattern within the region.
Al-Baha: Moderate rainfall with local variations
The Al-Baha Region saw moderate levels of rainfall across several locations, with notable differences across individual sites.Key measurements include:
- Balkhzamar (Al-Mandaq Governorate): 29.6 mm
- Barahrah (Al-Mandaq Governorate): 12.9 mm
- Bani Hassan: 10.6 mm
- Baidan: 10.2 mm
- King Saud Airport: 9.4 mm
These readings suggest a fairly active weather system in the area, particularly in Al-Mandaq Governorate.
Makkah and Aseer: Scattered downpours
In Makkah, rainfall activity was observed primarily in Al-Lith and Maysan:
