Actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood once again highlighted local talent through his social media. On Monday, he shared a video on Instagram featuring an elderly woman singer, captured during his travels.

In the clip, Sood is seen sitting with the lady near a grand old gate while engaging in a conversation. Introducing her as a singer with a unique voice, he encouraged her to sing a Marathi bhajan ahead of Lord Ganpati’s arrival. Sharing the heartwarming moment with his followers, Sood wrote in Hindi, “Everyone has talent. Someone’s hide, Someone gets printed. Amma, you are amazing. Ganapati Bappa Morya.”
Towards the end of the video, the actor humbly sought blessings from the woman as she joined him in chanting, “Ganpati Bappa Morya.”
Sood is known for traveling across the country and connecting with locals, often using his platform to support grassroots talent and small businesses. He appeals to his followers to back local initiatives, helping strengthen livelihoods through greater reach.
During the COVID-19 crisis, the actor became a symbol of hope by arranging oxygen supplies and aiding stranded citizens in reaching their hometowns. His humanitarian efforts earned widespread admiration.
Recently, Sood also shared a heartfelt post on Raksha Bandhan, dedicating it to his sisters Monika and Malvika. Calling them his “forever safe space,” he wrote, “From pulling each other’s legs to pulling each other out of trouble, from sharing chocolates to sharing secrets, our childhood has been full of memories that still make me smile.”
