    Archana Puran Singh On Difficult Marriage Phase With Parmeet, Reveals Ego Clashes, ‘Made Mistakes’

    Archana Puran Singh has made a name for herself through her infectious laughter and her iconic role of ‘Ms. Briganza’ in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. However, the veteran actress has now taken on the role of a family vlogger. This new path has brought Archana and her family a great deal of love from viewers, with their relatable and genuine content. Recently, the actress got candid about her marriage with Parmeet Sethi and how they went through a difficult phase. 

    Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi faced difficulties in their marriage once

    Archana appeared on her son,  Aaryamann Sethi’s vlog and discussed with him and their viewers about the difficulties she and Parmeet faced in their marriage. The actress stated that both of them made mistakes while trying to understand each other, and their egos also got in the way. In the vlog, Archana was quoted as saying:

    “Parmeet and I were going through a very difficult phase in our marriage. We made mistakes in understanding each other, and sometimes ego gets in the way. When both people in a marriage become weak, then that marriage struggles.”

    Archana then revealed that she was determined not to let the marriage fail due to their sons, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan Sethi. While talking to her elder son in the vlog, the actress told him that nobody could have been a better father to them than Parmeet. Archana also said that her husband has loved their children more than her. Hence, talking about how she made the decision to make the marriage work, Archana said:

    “You were young at that time, but even during that time, I knew that my children would always have their father, and I knew that nobody could be a better father than him. Somebody who has loved you guys more than me is your father, and I thought to myself, I cannot let this marriage fail.”

    Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi resolved their marriage issues through meditation 

    Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi joined the Art of Living Foundation and started meditating to resolve their issues. Both of them unravelled their past traumas and learnt how to deal with them. The actress revealed in the vlog that this helped them to start their relationship anew with a fresh and happier take. Archana revealed that they still fight ’15 times a day’ and might not be the perfect couple, but they appreciate each other’s real nature after practising meditation. Talking about how meditation helped her and Parmeet, Archana shared:

    “Meditation makes you look at things differently, and the things that irritate you about the other person won’t irritate you after practicing it. We started appreciating each other’s real nature. We are far from the perfect couple. We fight with each other at least 15 times a day, but we can’t live without each other.”
