Content creators known as therealstreets recently had an amusing encounter with actor Amit Sadh but initially failed to recognise the star. The interaction was captured on video, where the creators offered to take portraits of the 46-year-old actor, to which he humourously replied, “Are you paying in Bitcoins? I am an actor, I don’t work for free.”
Realising their mistake, the content creators confessed that they did know he was an actor but just couldn’t identify him on the spot. Sadh then modestly introduced himself, saying, “I am Amit Sadh.” The light-hearted moment has since gone viral, showing even celebrities can be mistaken by those behind the camera.

Fans praised the actor for his humility. One fan wrote, “A great actor of immense caliber of current times (sic)”, another wrote, “Bro he was so polite, god forbid if it was Jaya Bacchan you guys were cooked 🙂 (sic)”.
On the work front, Sadh has built a strong presence in both film and digital entertainment. He is best known for his roles in critically acclaimed films like ‘Kai Po Che!’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Sarkar 3’, ‘Raag Desh’, ‘Gold’, ‘Super 30’, ‘Shakuntala Devi’ (2020), ‘Sukhee’ (2023) and ‘Pune Highway’ (2025).
He has also earned praise for his performances in web series such as ‘Breathe’ (2018), ‘Breathe: Into the Shadows’ (2022) and ‘Avrodh: The Seige Within’ (2020). He has also been part of shows such as ‘Jeet Ki Zid’ (2021) and ‘Duranga’ (2022-2023).
Sadh will next be seen in a cop-drama ‘Main’, helmed by debutant director Sachin Sharaf. The film will also feature actors Esha Deol, Seema Biswas, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Milind Gunaji and others in key roles.
Sadh has not revealed any details about the yet to be released film.
