Since the release of the first poster, fans have been waiting for the trailer of the much-awaited film, Songs of Paradise and their wait is finally over. The makers of the film dropped the trailer of the film starring Saba Azad and Soni Razdan. Within hours, the trailer generated a wave of excitement among fans.
The trailer of Songs of Paradise is out
On August 25, 2025, Prime Video dropped the much-awaited trailer of Songs of Paradise. The film is based on the real Kashmiri singer, Raj Begum, who won the Padma Shri award and was known as the ‘Melody Queen’ of Kashmir. The trailer opens up with an older ‘Noor Begum’ (played by Soni Razdan), who sets the tone of the film with her first dialogue:
“Meri kahani ka karoge kya?”
The trailer then cuts to the younger ‘Zeba’ (played by Saba Azad), who learns singing and dreams to be the first female singer of Kashmir despite opposition from her family and society. The trailer suggests that the narrative will focus on ‘Zeba’s’ talent, training, mentorship and challenges. The trailer also suggests a romantic angle for ‘Zeba’. The trailer ends with a dramatic dialogue, which suggests that the film is not just about a singer but it is about social change. The dialogue is:
“Tum sirf singer Noor Begum nahi ho, tum toofan ho.”
The cast and crew of the film, Songs of Paradise
The film about ‘Noor Begum’s’ musical journey is directed by Danish Renzu and produced by Excel Entertainment, An Apple Tree Pictures Production and A Renzu Films Production. The much-anticipated film stars talented actors like Saba Azad, Soni Razdan, Taaruk Raina, Zain Khan Durrani, Sheeba Chaddha, Shishir Sharma and Armaan Khera. The film is all set to release on August 29, 2025, only on Amazon Prime Video and it promises a powerful narrative with soulful music.
Fans’ reaction to the trailer of Songs of Paradise
Within hours of the release of the trailer, fans went crazy about it and filled the comment section with excitement and appreciation. Some users expressed their wish for a theatrical release, while some appreciated the beautiful acting of Saba Azad. A few users also felt that this film reminded them of the film, Qala, starring Tripti Dimri.
