Samsung has launched its new affordable tablet in the Galaxy Tab S10 series, dubbed the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. The device is aimed at users who want a larger screen for entertainment, note-taking and productivity, but without the premium price tag of the flagship models. It comes with a 10.9-inch display, an Exynos 1380 processor, up to 8GB RAM, and an 8,000mAh battery. Samsung has also bundled its S Pen stylus in the box. Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite: Price, availability and features
The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite will go on sale starting September 5 and will be available in three colours — Grey, Silver and Coral Red. Samsung has not confirmed the India price at launch, but the tablet is expected to be positioned as one of the more accessible options in the Galaxy Tab S10 family. Globally, it will be available in two memory and storage combinations — 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Storage can be expanded further via a microSD card of up to 2TB.
On the hardware front, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite comes with a 10.9-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 2112 x 1320 pixels. Samsung has included Vision Booster technology for improved outdoor visibility, and the display can reach up to 600 nits of peak brightness. It also carries TV Rheinland certification for reduced blue light emissions.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, depending on the variant. It boots One UI 7 atop Android 15 out of the box, with support for seven years of main OS and security patch updates. The tablet has an 8,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
In terms of cameras, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite includes an 8-megapixel sensor at the back and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. While the cameras are basic compared to smartphones, they are in line with what most tablets in this segment usually offer.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite also comes with several of Samsung’s “Intelligent Features”. This includes tools built into Samsung Notes, such as Handwriting Help, which can convert handwriting to text, and Solve Maths, which can work through equations. Split View allows two apps or documents to be used side by side. The tablet also supports Circle to Search with Google, which lets users quickly find information from anywhere on the screen.
Samsung is also pushing the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite as an option for students and creators, thanks to its bundled S Pen. The stylus can be used for writing notes, drawing, or editing documents and PDFs. The device will also have access to popular apps such as Goodnotes, Clip Studio Paint, LumaFusion and Notion, some of which are available with free trials or discounts as part of launch offers.

Weighing 524 grams and measuring 6.6mm in thickness, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is designed to be slim and lightweight. Connectivity options include both Wi-Fi and 5G models, depending on the market.
