A suspect has been arrested over the attempted burglary at Lionel Richie’s Beverly Hills, Calif., mansion.

The Beverly Hills Police Department detained the 38-year-old near the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Beverly Glen Boulevard on Friday morning, according to Fox News Digital.

Although officers declined to confirm that the attempted burglary took place at Richie’s home, multiple reports suggested that the property in question belonged to the music legend.

Reps for Richie, 76, did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

On Friday, authorities responded to a burglary call around midnight and the suspect was arrested a few blocks away shortly thereafter.

TMZ reported that the “Lady” crooner was home when the alleged attempted break-in occurred and the alarm system became activated.

The sound of the alarm allegedly made the burglar flee the scene and nothing was stolen.

Richie’s home is the latest celeb property targeted by a burglar amid ongoing crime issues in California.

Intruders also attempted to gain entry into “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Arroyave’s family home in July.

At the time, the estranged couple told Page Six in a joint statement that their alarm system “scared off the intruders.”

In June, Brad Pitt’s $5.5 million mansion in Los Feliz, Calif., was also broken into, and thieves took off with several of the actor’s belongings.

The “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” star wasn’t home during the ordeal.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s $4.7 million mansion in Los Angeles was also burglarized in February.

The couple wasn’t home when the incident occurred, either, and TMZ previously reported that their burglar took off when house staff arrived at the property.

It’s unclear if anything was stolen from Kidman and Urban’s house.

In a separate part of the country, Travis Kelce also fell victim to a break-in when invaders stole $20,000 in cash from his Kansas City, Mo., mansion in November 2024.
