Two days after the prime shooter was arrested, the Gurugram Police have arrested another in connection with the firing at the house of popular YouTuber and Big Boss OTT Elvis Yadav.

According to the police, the second accused, identified as Jatin, 24, was involved in planning the attack and providing the motorcycle used during the crime. The arrest was made on August 23 near Hanuman Temple on the Gurugram-Faridabad road.

The motorcycle involved in the firing has been recovered and Jatin was produced before the court, and sent to judicial custody, the police confirmed.

Following the arrest, Jatin admitted during interrogation that he had been operating as an online bike-taxi rider in Gurugram for two months. He confessed that, under the direction of his accomplices, he provided his motorcycle which was used by others to carry out the attack.

Earlier on Friday, the police arrested Ishant alias Ishu Gandhi, 19, who opened fire at Elvish Yadav’s house. When Ishan was caught by the police, he first attempted to flee by firing at them. However, he was shot in leg by the police and was later admitted to the hospital.

On August 17, around 5:25 am, three attackers – including Ishan and Jatin – arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire indiscriminately at the ground and first floors of Elvish Yadav’s residence. The attack was confirmed through CCTV footage from the house

The Sector-56 police, with assistance from Scene-of-Crime, Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), and fingerprint teams, conducted a thorough inspection of the crime scene.

The investigation remains active as the police keeps searching for the remaining accused.
