In the chat, she was seen insisting that the Party of Five actor let her see her children. In exchange, she threatened to call the police if he disagreed with her demand. However, Scott’s alleged reply told a different story as he pleaded with her not to scare their children. Sharing her worries, she penned:
“I’m begging you to leave them alone… You are torturing them. Miller called me sobbing from what you said to him. He’s terrified.”
The text showcased how there is a deep rift between the former couple, which has affected their three children. After the actor’s text, Kelley fired back with sarcasm and told Scott that she would wait “500 feet away… smoking” while he “grew up.” The mother of three also shared posts about her financial struggles, including an overdrawn bank account. It has left fans divided about what is happening between their family and who is at fault. However, for Scott, the priority is to protect their children, Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11, from the chaos.
What led to Scott Wolf and Kelley’s messy divorce and custody drama?
The public breakdown of Scott Wolf and Kelley’s marriage comes after the pair finalised their divorce in June 2025. They ended their relationship after 21 years of marriage. But what initially appeared as a quiet divorce was far from smooth. In his divorce filing, Scott mentioned that Kelley’s behavior posed a ‘threat of immediate and irreparable harm’ to their kids. In turn, he was granted a temporary restraining order. The court also gave him sole physical custody while Kelley initially got joint custody of their daughter. However, when she tried to break into their home, she was limited to visitation and phone contact.
Kelley insisted that she was the one who began the separation proceedings a year earlier. She accused Scott of alleged psychological abuse and child endangerment as the reason for the same. The custody battle only deepened when PEOPLE reported that Kelley had admitted in private texts that she made false allegations of abuse and a stolen passport to gain an upper hand in the case. It was reportedly a legal strategy used by her to ‘create urgency.’ Soon after, Kelley was detained twice under psychiatric holds following concerning behavior, especially when she waved a knife in the air.
