Lil Nas X ditched his tighty-whities before being hospitalized and arrested, a new video shows.
In shocking footage obtained by TMZ, the “Rodeo” rapper, 26, could be seen walking down the middle of the road completely naked, shouting song lyrics and making hand gestures as cars passed by.
He then turned and walked toward the person recording the video for a full frontal view as he sang Nicki Minaj’s lyrics from Kanye West’s 2010 hit “Monster.”
A rep for the rapper did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
The “Industry Baby” artist was first spotted in video obtained by TMZ roaming Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles wearing only white cowboy boots and white underwear at around 4 a.m Thursday. He reportedly told a fan he was on his way to a party before placing a traffic cone on his head.
A public information officer told Page Six Thursday that multiple witnesses notified the Los Angeles Police Department, who arrived around 5:50 a.m local time — after which, they told us, the rapper allegedly “charged” at the officers and was “taken into custody” and “transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose.”
An insider told NBC News that the rapper — whose given name is Montero Lamar Hill — punched an officer twice in the face during the encounter, leading to an arrest for misdemeanor battery on a police officer.
According to TMZ, bystanders had reported to police that they saw a nude man walking down the legendary boulevard ahead of his arrest.
Records obtained by Page Six show that Hill was booked in Los Angeles at 11:22 a.m. and was being held at Van Nuys Jail throughout the weekend.
In the hours leading up to the incident, the rapper was captured on surveillance camera footage at the Short Stories Hotel — where he was reportedly not a guest.
In the footage obtained by TMZ Friday, Hill was seen around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday roaming the grounds of the facility. Initially, he wore a cowboy hat, jeans and button up shirt, but later removed them while grabbing a beverage and sitting on a bench in the lobby.
He was also seen fanning himself in the hotel’s courtyard amid the Los Angeles heat wave.
In the days leading up to the wild incident, the rapper took to Instagram with a spate of bizarre social media posts.
Nearly a dozen Instagram posts shared Wednesday showed the rapper’s belongings piled up and scattered throughout his home. In one video, he wore a robe with cowboy boots and carried a tambourine while singing.
In another post, Lil Nas X captioned a selfie, “OH NO sHES GONE MAD! CRAZY I TELL U! 😭🙏🏾😈❤️”
In April, the rapper took to Instagram to reveal he’d been hospitalized with a mystery illness. “Soooo lost control of the right side of my face 😭,” he captioned the since-deleted post, alongside a video of himself attempting to smile.
