Rumours about Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s marital issues have been circulating for some time. It was reported that Govinda and Sunita decided to part ways after decades of being together. Time and again, the couple has dismissed the buzz around them. Most recently, a report stated that Sunita had actually filed for divorce under the Hindu Marriage Act of 1955, on the grounds of cheating, cruelty, and desertion. While the couple is yet to react to this recent buzz, a recent video of Sunita made rounds on social media, wherein she expressed her love for her husband.
Sunita Ahuja says no one can love Govinda the way she does
In a conversation with Eat Travel Repeat, Sunita Ahuja said that no one can even dare to love her husband the way she does. She shares that she understands him from within, and she even knows when he would want Coke or when he would have digestive issues. Sunita further mentioned that no one can understand her husband the way she does, and she is pretty sure that no one will be able to beat that. Sunita can be quoted as saying:
“Usko bhook kab lagta hai mujhe yeh bhi pata hai. Ki abhi isko coke kab chahiye mujhe yeh bhi pata hai. Usko acidity kab ho raha hai mujhe yeh bhi pata hai. Mere jitna Govinda ko koi nahi jaanega, aur kabhi zindagi mein nahi jaanega koi. Kyunki andar se pyaar karti hun naa usko. Jitna bhi koi karle pyaar, kuchh bhi karle, but mera andar ka pyaar hai. Woh, mere jaisa Govinda ko koi nahi pyaar kar sakta hai, naa koi usko itna samajh sakta hai.”
Sunita Ahuja requests that Govinda be like before
In the same interview, Sunita was asked which Govinda she would prefer more, of the 90s or 2000s. To this, she said that she prefers the 90s Govinda. She, then, with folded hands, asked her husband to be like he was before. This clip was seemingly shot before, and was posted at the time when the divorce buzz between the couple was again rife. Adorably calling her husband, ‘Chi Chi’, Sunita said:
“90s ka. I prefer wohi Govinda. Purana Govinda, (with folded hands) waapas aaja Govinda tu yaar. Mera Chi Chi tu aaja waapas Chi Chi, aaja mere paas Chi Chi.”
When Pahlaj Nihalani said that Govinda and Sunita’s marriage would survive even if he had 10 affairs
Govinda and Sunita’s split has always been around, and so have their infidelity rumours. Pahlaj Nihalani, who worked with Govinda on several projects before their fallout, in an interview with The Indian Express, said that nobody can come between Govinda and Sunita’s eternal love. As per Pahlaj Nihalani, Sunita speaks her mind while Govinda never strays, and thus, even if Govinda had 10 affairs, his marriage with Sunita would still survive. He also revealed that Govinda and Sunita live separately, as the actor has to work late and attend business meetings, which happen in another bungalow.
Sunita Ahuja dismisses her divorce buzz with Govinda
It was Sunita, who in an interview said that she and Govinda live separately, which sparked their divorce buzz. However, time and again, she has dismissed such claims. A few days ago, she dropped her husband’s surname from her IG handle, and it intensified the divorce buzz. Later, Sunita confirmed that she did the same due to numerological belief, and she will be an Ahuja for the rest of her life. Sunita further, in one of her new YouTube videos, broke down as she said that the almighty has always listened to her, and thus, if anyone tries to break off her family, then that person won’t be spared.
