Amid the speculations, actor, Manoj Pahwa has broken his silence.
Manoj Pahwa clarifies the truth behind the famous dialogue
On August 20, 2025, Netflix released the powerful preview of Aryan Khan’s upcoming show, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. In the preview, there is a scene, where the main protagonist goes to jail and a police officer, who puts him in jail says, “Tension nahi lene ka. Andar jaake log aur famous ho jaate hai.” A lot of fans in the comment section felt that this was inspired from Aryan’s personal life. Amid all the rumours, actor, Manoj Pahwa, who plays an important role in the show breaks his silence on the speculations. In a conversation with The Print, he denied all the speculations and said:
“There is no relation between the scene and the incident. The show is entirely fictional.”
Manoj Pahwa calls Aryan Khan a workaholic
In the same interview with The Print, the Mimi actor, Manoj recalled his meeting with Aryan Khan and shared that he is the true copy of his father, Shah Rukh Khan. Just like SRK, he is also a professional, workaholic and hardworking. Manoj Pahwa mentioned that even though the show is Aryan’s debut, he was perfect with everything. He also explained that, while shooting, Aryan Khan would keep taking retakes until he was satisfied with the take. In his words:
“Aryan is following in his father’s footsteps. He is a hardcore professional, a workaholic, and he works very hard just like SRK. When I first met Aryan and heard about the character and storyline, the experience was far beyond what I had anticipated. It was his first project. He is a young lad. I didn’t expect the narrations would be pitch perfect. I was blown away in that first meeting itself.”
Aryan Khan’s arrest in 2021
In October 2021, Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) during a raid on a cruise ship in Mumbai. He was accused of involvement in a drugs case. His arrest, in no time, turned into national news. Even though, Aryan Khan had no drugs with him, he spent almost a month in jail before getting bail. Later, NCB cleared him of all charges as there was no evidence. During that time, Shah Rukh Khan was spotted multiple times around the police station.
