Keke Palmer popped on a classic pair of Christian Louboutin pumps in white for an event as part of the “Up Close & Personal: In My Studio With” series in Los Angeles. Palmer kept it fun with her look for the event, which she did alongside Tayla Parx and took place at The Village Recording Studio on Thursday.
The series provides a behind-the-scenes look at the music industry and studios, and Palmer arrived at the event in a baby blue MiuMiu romper and a pair of Louboutin’s Hot Chick pumps in a crisp white hue, which has been a popular color this season.

The Hot Chick pump is a popular Louboutin silhouette among celebrities and has become a staple design for the French luxury footwear brand. The shoes emulate the traditional frame of a pump but they differentiate from the So Kate or Kate heels thanks to a deep cut at the vamp enhanced by a pointed toe and V-shaped scalloped notches on the sides that give the shoes a flirty flair.
The heels sit on a 100mm heel and feature a tone-on-tone insole and delicate finishes. The pumps are crafted entirely in a stark white patent calfskin leather, while the unmistakable Louboutin pop of red covers the bottom of the shoes, giving them a bright contrast.

On top, Palmer went for a Miu Miu Graphic Print Romper from the 2017 collection by Miuccia Prada. The romper features a blue graphic print, long sleeves, a mock neck, and an exposed zip closure at the front. “The Pickup” showed off a new pixie haircut, which she debuted earlier in the week when she attended Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl Tour stop in Toronto. She maintained her signature copper hair color, which was accentuated by her bronze and pink makeup look.
Palmer has shown a preference for Louboutin’s creations throughout her career, and this year, she has already sported the brand’s popular So Kate heels and the Giddylina Booties. However, she doesn’t box herself in when it comes to footwear, and explores with different brands and designers like Amina Muaddi, Saint Laurent, Rene Caovilla, and more.
