Dinosaurs are back at the top of the food chain! Jurassic World: Rebirth has crossed Rs. 100 crores at the Indian box office, becoming the second Hollywood release of 2025 to achieve this milestone after Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. The film has collected Rs. 100.07 crores so far, and with strong weekday business, trade confirms it has comfortably entered the Rs. 100 crore club.
This makes Jurassic World: Rebirth the biggest non-MI Hollywood hit of the year in India, outpacing F1: The Movie (Rs. 95.04 crores), Final Destination Bloodlines (Rs. 62.12 crores), and Superman (Rs. 48.89 crores). Interestingly, while superhero films like Captain America: Brave New World (Rs. 18.45 crores) and Thunderbolts (Rs. 19 crores) have struggled to find takers, event spectacles and nostalgia-driven titles are thriving. Mission: Impossible and Jurassic World together have contributed more than Rs. 200 crores to Hollywood’s 2025 India box office — a clear indication that big-screen spectacles with strong franchise pull continue to dominate.
The Jurassic franchise has always had a loyal fan base in India, and Rebirth has capitalized on nostalgia, visual spectacle, and family-friendly appeal to draw audiences across metros and smaller towns. With premium formats like IMAX also giving it a boost, the film is expected to add more to its tally in the weeks to come.
