Adding to its array of global sports and entertainment under its portfolio, American Express is now the official payments partner of Hard Rock Stadium — also encompassing both the Miami Grand Prix and the Miami Dolphins.

As part of the new sponsorship, the Hard Rock Stadium will join the company’s Venue Collection, allowing its card members early access to presale tickets, special fan experiences, exclusive lounges, fan favorite Amex radios during race weekends and more.

The deal will debut at the upcoming 2025 NFL season for the Miami Dolphins and other big-name entertainment events happening at the Hard Rock Stadium. At the 2026 Miami Grand Prix, the race will see the Amex launch and continuation of the partnership.

Amex initially partnered with Formula 1 as an Americas regional partner in 2023, which then expanded to a global payment partnership in 2024 onward for the more than 20 races the sport holds globally. The partnership now encompasses the regions of Australia, Asia, Europe, the Americas and the Middle East. The company has continued to expand as a payments partner across basketball, tennis, golf, music, theater and more.

Jason Green, senior vice president and chief revenue officer of the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Dolphins and the Miami Grand Prix, said the new partnership with Amex is a shared commitment to enhance the customer experience and add a slew of new benefits for both guests and card members alike who attend the stadium for concerts and sports.

“As Amex continues to grow its powerhouse portfolio of sports and entertainment sponsorships globally, these new partnerships in Miami elevate the access and experience for our card members and enhance the value of their membership. We’re committed to showing up for our card members at the moments they love the most and offering unique ways to make them even more special,” said Bess Spaeth, executive vice president of global brand management and experiences at American Express.
