Amid the buzz, speculation is also rife about Ambika Ranjankar, who essays Mrs Hathi, reportedly planning to exit the show. However, the actor has now refuted the claims.
The buzz began when viewers noticed Ambika Ranjankar’s character missing from recent episodes of the popular sitcom. This sparked speculation about her possible exit, with fans flooding social media with assumptions and questions on whether she was the next to leave the beloved sitcom. Putting an end to the rumours, the actor clarified that she is very much a part of the show.
In a chat with Tellychakkar, Ranjankar refused the buzz of her exit and said, “No, I haven’t quit the show. I am very much a part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.” When asked about her absence from the show, she said, “Well, for some personal reasons, I was away. I needed some time for myself.”
Earlier today, Munmun Dutta put all speculations to rest with a post on Instagram. She posted a video from the set of the show. In the clip, she was seen shooting for an upcoming scene. The video also offered a glimpse of Iyer’s house along with some behind-the-scenes footage from Munmun’s makeup room.
