Seann William Scott, who is famous for his role in American Pie, has been making headlines for his divorce battle with his ex-wife, Olivia Korenberg. According to the new buzz and court documents, Seann is planning to sell their family home, where he told his estranged wife to stay and gave her only one month notice to evict the place. Seann William Scott and Olivia Korenberg’s divorce reason revealed after four years of living together
After four years of living together, it was the American actor, Seann William Scott, who filed for divorce from Olivia Korenberg in February 2024. According to reports, Seann revealed that they are parting ways due to irreconcilable differences. Not only this, Seann even went on to ask for joint and legal custody for their five-year-old daughter, Frankie.
Not only this, in the court he appealed to have them divide their assets with prenup document which cover issues like spousal support and his ex-wife, Olivia’s attorney fees. The prenup also includes assets and debts. As for the jewellery, he stressed that it belongs to them as a couple. However, his earnings before and after marriage were his alone.

Since Scott and Korenberg agreed on joint legal and physical custody of their child, which includes that their daughter won’t be away from either parent for more than three consecutive days. The former couple even agreed to maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship and decided to introduce each other to any future lovers. They even agreed to let their daughter, Frankie, spend quality time with their future partners for a significant time of more than 48 hours. The document in question can be read as:
“Each party acknowledges and agrees that he/she shall introduce to the other party any significant other that either party intends to introduce to the parties’ minor child and have the minor child spend significant time with said significant other.
Olivia Korenberg accused Seann William Scott of asking her to evict the home on short notice, which he bought for her and their daughter
Olivia claimed that Seann bought a home for her and their daughter in 2024. He told her that they could live in there for a year, after arguing that it doesn’t give her security. Seann told her that she could stay there till their daughter turns 18, and on the provision that barred her from bringing anyone else into the home. Since the ex-couple share joint and legal custody of their daughter, Seann wanted her to live within 20 miles of his Malibu home.
However, Olivia claimed that things changed when she told Seann on November 5, 2024, that she was planning to introduce her new partner to their daughter, Frankie. The ex-wife revealed that 25 days later, Seann sent an email asking her to evict the home by May 3, 2025, as he intended to sell the property.
Olivia decided to take the matter into court, and pleaded to not allow Seann to sell the house, where she is currently living with her daughter. She admitted that she cannot afford housing in Malibu and due to the wildfires they have evacuated the place several times. Olivia further claimed that Seann earns around USD 1,48,000 per month and believes there should be an increase in the USD 6,000 per month child support which they agreed on the basis of a 50/50 schedule.

The American Pie star decided to write a letter to court, wherein he denied his ex-wife, Olivia’s claim that he asked her to evict from one of his extra homes. He accepted that he had purchased the home as an investment and to make sure that Olivia and their child were close to him while she was in preschool.
Seann claimed that he never gave it to Olivia as her permanent residence. In fact, he made it clearly before Olivia moved into the property. Seann added that he decided to sell off the property after having a word with his financial advisors in December 2024. He went on to deny Olivia’s allegation that he asked her to move out as a retaliation for her new partner.
Seann claimed that he was extremely supportive of Olivia’s new relationship and encouraged a thoughtful introduction of her relationship to their daughter. Seann also denied that Olivia made major renovations in their home. Seann added that he was majorly responsible for capital improvements and big repairs of the home. He added that he didn’t just purchased the place but also paid over USD 1,10,000 in improvements and repairs.
Seann mentioned in his letter that Olivia was responsible for cosmetic improvements, routine maintenance and furnishing. In fact, he had known about the expenses and tried to help Olivia in furnishing and decorating the home affordably. He even offered to gift her a valuable vintage designer furniture. She even kept some of them and denied others. Seann added that when Olivia asked him about a custom island table, he told her to look for a less expensive option and reminded her that she won’t be in the home a year later.
Seann William Scott called himself a deeply committed father
Talking about his relationship with his daughter, Frankie, Seann stated that he is a deeply committed father and actively participate in all aspects of her life. Not only this, he also worked to manage his work schedules to be around his daughter. He added that during his recent project, he asked the production to revise his schedule and allow him to start work at 9 in the morning and finish early afternoon, so that he could pick up his daughter.
Seann agreed that he had earlier told Olivia to stay within 20 miles of his Malibu home. He hinted that his daughter has a good relationship with her mother, Olivia, but he wonders if his ex-wife is genuinely interested in fostering his relationship with their daughter. He even objected to pay Olivia’s legal fees USD 75,000, but accepted to pay guidelines support for his daughter. He even went on to ask for sole custody to allow him to enrol their daughter in school.
