It has been a while since speculations around Ambika Ranjankar leaving Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have been making headlines. For the unversed, the show has been streaming for 17 years and recently introduced some new characters. Amid that, speculations around ‘Komal Hathi’s’ exit from the show had left the fans extremely disappointed. However, now the actress herself has reacted to the buzz. For the unversed, speculations around Ambika Ranjankar’s exit from the show started making rounds after her character ‘Komal Hathi’ was missing from the show.
Fans thought that they had yet again lost one of the OGs and expressed their dismay online. However, as soon as the news reached Ambika Ranjankar, she made sure that there were no such rumours and cleared the air. In a conversation with Tellychakkar, Ambika revealed that she hasn’t quit the show and was away for a little while due to some personal reasons. She was quoted as saying:
“No, I haven’t quit the show. I am very much a part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Well, for some personal reasons, I was away. I needed some time for myself.”
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s new storyline
ETimes earlier reported that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will be introducing a new storyline. The show has recently introduced a new Rajasthani family to the famous Gokuldham society. According to reports, the new family’s head is a businessman, and fans are eager to find out if he will compete with ‘Jethalal’ (Dilip Joshi), who is the owner of Gada Electronics. The production house has yet to divulge the specific episode in which the new family will appear on the show.
Reportedly, actors Dharti Bhatt, Kuldeep Gor, Akshaan Sehrawat and Maahi Bhadra will be seen as ‘Rupa Baditop’, ‘Ratan Binjola’, ‘Veer’ and ‘Bansari’. While other details are being kept under wraps. However, the new addition to the show already has the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fans excited as they can’t wait to see how the new plot will blend with the show’s typical humour, funny misunderstandings and, of course, their cultural flavour.
