Netflix lit up the city this evening with a special preview of The Ba***ds of Bollywood, marking Aryan Khan’s much-anticipated directorial debut, set to stream from 18th September. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt. Ltd, the series is created by Aryan Khan along with co-creators Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, who also contributed as writers.

The preview revealed a fast-paced, stylised world infused with self-aware humour and tongue-in-cheek storytelling. Described as the ultimate underdog story, the series explores ambition, sacrifice, and survival in a chaotic Bollywood landscape. Shah Rukh Khan introduced the star-studded cast, which includes Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Gautami Kapoor, and Rajat Bedi, sharing an insights into their characters and the experience of shooting the cheeky, unfiltered series.
Launching the preview, debutant Aryan Khan spoke about his creative vision, saying, “With The Ba***ds of Bollywood, I wanted to build a world that feels alive, a mix of glitz and grit, where ambition shines, egos clash, and nothing is ever as it seems. In Netflix, we found a partner who shared our creative vision—helping us tell the story exactly how it needed to be told, raw, stylised, and something the world has never experienced before.”
Shah Rukh Khan expressed pride in witnessing Aryan’s debut, stating, “It’s a proud moment to see Aryan carve out his vision with such clarity and edge. The music for the series, produced under the T-Series label, is composed by Shashwat Sachdev, with guest contributions from Anirudh Ravichander and Ujwal Gupta. Written by Aryan Khan, Bilal Siddiqi, Manav Chauhan along with Gauri Khan as the producer, The Ba*ds of Bollywood** promises to be a mix of ambition, humour, drama, and heart and will premiere worldwide exclusively on Netflix from September 18.
