Angela Bassett arrived at the “Good Day New York” studios in white sneakers but quickly changed into round-toe platform court heels in time for the on-camera interview. The actress stopped by the show on Wednesday in New York, wearing a crisp white pin-stripe suit with a black button-down shirt and a towering pair of heels to match.

For shoes, she opted for a pair of black, patent-leather platform court heels, which resembled the Kurt Geiger London Shoreditch Platform-heel Leather Court shoes. Crafted from 100 percent leather with a glossy patent finish, the shoes feature ankle-buckle fastening, which was obscured by the wide leg on the “Black Panther” star’s trousers.
Her shoes featured a round closed toe, a towering platform sole measuring 1.5 inches and a thick block heel measuring 4.5 inches. The Oscar winner’s shoes featured a closed-toe design, with a D’Orsay-like silhouette that left the sides of the vamp cut away, exposing the instep and arch of the foot.

Before wearing the heels on “Good Day New York,” Bassett arrived from the “Today” show wearing a pair of white sneakers with her ensemble. The “What’s Love Got to Do With It” actress’ sneakers featured suede overlays on the upper, a thicker sole, and navy accents throughout. For some of her recent looks, the actress has been working with stylist Ritchy Da Silva, who also works with Cardi B, Victoria Monet, Gianni Paolo and more stars.
