Lainey Wilson married her signature country core style with dark glamour inspiration for her SiriusXM’s Small Stage Series performance on Monday in Los Angeles.

For her performance, Wilson contrasted shades of her black with her country core blue denim. The look evoked elements of the dark glamour trend, which emphasizes dark tones and romantic design elements throughout.

Wilson’s edgy attire included a black cowgirl hat, paired with a sleeveless black corset top with a plunging neckline and lace-up detailing on the front. The “Heart Like a Truck” singer wore a pair of blue jeans with contrasting black leather-like fabric and bell-bottom silhouette hem.

As for jewelry and other accessories, Wilson wore a wide sunflower buckle belt in black with metallic silver hardware. Her jewelry consisted of layered necklaces, including a horseshoe chain and a black and silver star statement piece.

Country core styles saw a rise in mainstream popularity in 2024, thanks in part to the cultural resonance of Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s “Cowboy Carter” album, which debuted in March 2024. Wilson has long styled country core as her signature approach to fashion, infusing an Old West sensibility with modern flair — in July, Wilson put her country stamp on a look from Rahul Mishra’s spring 2021 couture collection.

In recent years, Wilson leveraged her style with collaborations and partnerships with various high-profile brands, including Kendra Scott and Wrangler. Earlier this August, Wrangler and Wilson introduced their fourth collaboration with the fall 2025 collection and campaign.
