Recently, the legendary director, S.S. Rajamouli unveiled the teaser of the much awaited and anticipated film, Rao Bahadur. Since its first look was released, fans have been waiting to see more of it and finally, the wait is over. The makers have officially dropped the teaser of the film, Rao Bahadur and fans can’t stop generating buzz around it.
The teaser of Rao Bahadur is out
On August 18, 2025, the teaser of the much-anticipated film, Rao Bahadur was dropped on Mahesh Babu’s YouTube channel. The teaser was launched by the Bahubali director, S. S. Rajamouli. He took to his Instagram story, to share a poster, which mentioned that the teaser is officially out. The makers called it ‘Not ever a teaser’, maybe because it doesn’t feel like a trailer, it is a complete mood changer.
The visuals of the teaser are dark and mysterious. Visuals of old houses, dim lights and silent halls will make you wonder what exactly is happening in the film. The uneasy music and close up shots of expression add to the suspense. The teaser perfectly matches the tagline of the film, which is:
“Doubt is a Demon.”
Lead actor, Satyadev’s look in the teaser sparks excitement. He is shown as an older person, who has a strong and serious presence. His entire look gives a sense of mystery. It feels as if his character has a lot of layers, which will add depth to the plot.

The teaser does not reveal a lot about the story. It shared some pieces but doesn’t stay much about the story. All that the teaser suggests is that the film will explore themes like loneliness, the protagonist living in a crumbling house, a love story, personal trauma and an investigation that involves police. The film is directed by Venkatesh Maha and apart from Satyadev, the film stars Vikas Muppala, Deepa Thomas, Bala Parasar, Anand Bharathi and more. The film is all set to release in 2026.

Within a few hours of the release of the teaser, fans went crazy and couldn’t stop themselves from sharing their excitement. Some fans appreciated Telugu cinema, while others praised Satyadev. A few hours ago, actor, Satyadev took to his Instagram handle to share the teaser of Rao Bahadur. Along with the teaser, he penned a beautiful and heartfelt message. He mentioned the effort that has gone behind making this film. In his words:
“I always give my everything to bring you the best cinematic experience. With Rao Bahadur, we as a team have pushed ourselves beyond limits body, mind, and soul. This one will be a true feast in theatres next year.”
