Actress Divya Khossla disclosed that she “lived in a slum” in Lucknow as part of her preparation for the upcoming film Ek Chatur Naar, in which she stars alongside Neil Nitin Mukesh. She described the experience as “one-of-a-kind,” noting that it allowed her to witness “the other side of living” and add genuine depth to her performance.

Divya shared pictures from the film on Instagram, where she was seen in a simple salwar kameez, her hair neatly braided, and a black thread around her neck. In her post, she wrote, “I lived in a slum in Lucknow to understand the life of slum dwellers for my role in #EkChaturNaar. It’s been a one-of-a-kind experience to witness the other side of living and bring it to life with this transformation. Can’t wait to take you all on this rollercoaster of a quirky comedy! The makers of the film recently unveiled its posters, showcasing the first looks of both Divya and Neil’s characters. One poster features Divya with a mysterious and mischievous expression, her braid styled to resemble a snake, adding an element of intrigue. Another poster presents Neil in a sharp formal suit, holding a gun and flashing a sly smile as he stands beside her.
Backed by producers Umesh Shukla, Ashish Wagh, and Zeeshan Ahmad, Ek Chatur Naar is slated to hit theatres on September 12, 2025.
Divya was last seen in Savi, where her powerful performance received much appreciation. She then began shooting for Hero Heeroine alongside Paresh Rawal. Speaking about the experience, she said, “It feels like a fresh chapter in my career. Just like my previous role in Savi helped me explore new aspects of myself, this film is pushing me to tap into emotions I never knew I had. Working with someone as experienced as Pareshji is truly an honour and a dream come true.”
Meanwhile, Neil appeared in multiple web series, including Hisaab Barabar and Hai Junoon. In Hisaab Barabar, he shared the screen with R Madhavan and Rashami Desai, while Hai Junoon featured him alongside Sidharth Nigam, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Sumedh Mudgalkar.
