Brooklyn Beckham reportedly left his parents, Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, out of his heartfelt speech at his and Nicola Peltz’s vow renewal ceremony.
“He spoke from the heart,” an insider close to the couple told the Mirror Sunday.
“At the center of his heart is Nicola who he loves very dearly, but also the Peltz family who have really stuck by his side. He wanted to recognise them all, and was determined to do them all justice.”
Reps for the Brooklyn, 26, and Peltz, 30 — who initially tied the knot in 2022 — weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.
The couple renewed their vows at the model’s family home alongside 200 guests earlier this month, the outlet reported.
An insider told People that they decided to honor their marriage and the “love and commitment they’ve built together over the years.”
Victoria, 51, and David, 50, were notably not in attendance at the ceremony. They were instead photographed vacationing on a yacht in St. Tropez a few days before.
Photos from the affair showed Peltz posing with her entire family, including her parents and siblings.
“this day meant so much to us 🤍,” the actress shared via Instagram.
Peltz shared additional photos of herself and Brooklyn cuddled up on their special day — with the duo receiving support from a close friend who defended them amid their ongoing rift with Brooklyn’s parents and siblings.
“I love seeing people who spend years in therapy over toxic family ties coming here and judging someone who actually had the guts to walk away,” Rebecca Faria commented.
“Everyone’s been kissing the Beckhams’ ass forever, and Nicola was the first to stand up for her values since [she] couldn’t care less about their fame or money!”
Faria claimed that “the moment [the Beckhams] couldn’t control everything, they lost it and started planting fake press to make her look bad in the public eye.
“I’ve known her for years; she’s genuine, humble, and refuses to live in a fake world … So if you don’t know the REAL story, don’t come here talking crap.”
In June, Page Six revealed that Brooklyn was no longer in contact with his parents and siblings — Romeo, Cruz and Harper — after he and Peltz noticeably did not attend David’s 50th birthday party.
