Malaika Arora was only 25 years old when she married Arbaaz Khan. Four years into their marriage, the couple welcomed their son, Arhaan Khan, in 2002. However, their marital bliss faded after 18 years of marriage, and the duo made the heartbreaking decision of parting ways in 2016. Their divorce was finalised the next year, and since Malaika has never shared her plans to get married again. Nonetheless, Abraaz is now married to Sshura Khan and expecting their first baby together.
Abraaz Khan’s marriage has also intrigued fans, leading them to wonder if a second marriage is on the cards for Malaika as well. In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Malaika mentioned that she is not closed off to the idea of another marriage. The actress shared her views on getting married early and stated:
“I would have said, ‘Take your time to get married.’ I would have told my younger self that, definitely. It is (a huge commitment) and ladkiyaan pata nahi kya… itni jaldi shaadi karne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Thoda bohot kaam karlo, thoda understand karlo life ki journey and then take that plunge- which I was… very young when I got married.”
In the same conversation, Malaika Arora shared whether she planned on getting married again. The actress revealed that she is not against it as she is a hardcore romantic. Malaika’s comment left fans gushing, and they were wondering if love had already knocked on the actress’ door after her heartbreaking breakup with Arjun Kapoor. Malaika was quoted as saying:
“Never say never. Like I said, I’m a hardcore romantic. I believe in love. I believe in all things about love. So, never say never.”

Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor were going strong for six years before the Singham Again actor confirmed that he and Malaika had broken up. During the promotional event of the film, the actor revealed that he was single. In a viral video from the event, he was seen telling the crowd:

However, neither Malaika nor Arjun publicly discussed their breakup before that instance, despite the rumours of their split having been circulating for months, with sources suggesting they had ‘run their course’ as a couple. Still, they would continue to respect each other’s privacy. A month after Arjun’s remark, Malaika Arora shared a post on Instagram that read, “My status right now: in a relationship, single, hehehe.” The ‘hehehe’ option was selected from the drop-down options. Malaika hasn’t been linked to anyone since.
