Dead Like Me has since become a cult classic show after it first premiered on Showtime in June 2003. Created by Bryan Fuller, the series followed Georgia “George” Lass, an 18-year-old who dies unexpectedly and becomes a grim reaper. Alongside an eclectic group of fellow reapers, she helps guide souls to the afterlife while dealing with her own lingering ties to the living world. The mix of dark comedy, heartfelt drama and supernatural intrigue made it a favorite, and it even spawned a 2009 follow-up film, Dead Like Me: Life After Death. While the show’s run was brief with only 29 episodes, its cast made a lasting impression. From television and film roles to entirely new career paths, here’s what the cast and creator have been up to in recent years. In case you want to catch up, the show is streaming now on Amazon Prime Video.
