Similar incidents abound — from Karnataka MLA Aravind Limbavali’s daughter berating officers to BJP leaders in Mathura, Ludhiana and Madhya Pradesh caught threatening or assaulting police over routine traffic stops. Blocking traffic is punishable under the Motor Vehicles Act, and threatening cops can lead to arrest under IPC sections 186 and 353.
