Katy Perry gave her New York evening look a vintage-leaning lift on Tuesday in Malone Souliers x Tabitha Simmons’ Lily Bow Slide Sandals.
Cut in blush satin, the sold-out spring 2024 style balanced a low open vamp with grosgrain trim and a small bow at the center. The 3-inch stiletto flares slightly at the base, keeping the profile light while nodding to Simmons’ long-running preference for subtle sculpt.

The Lily was part of Simmons’ return to footwear after pausing her eponymous line, created with Malone Souliers co-creative directors Coco Fong and Valerio Bava. Exclusive to Bergdorf Goodman at the start, the capsule spanned mules, slingbacks, ballet pumps and kitten heels, combining Simmons’ English whimsy with Malone Souliers’ precise construction.

“I wanted to take some of my iconic shapes and some of Malone Souliers’ iconic shapes, and do something new — whether that’s through silhouettes or fabrics,” Simmons told WWD at launch. Bow detailing, jacquards and mesh underscored the collaboration’s balance of softness and form. While the collection is available only on resale sites, Simmons has launched other collaborative capsules since, like the collection with Blazé Milano launched in April.

Perry paired the mules with a strapless navy column dress, structured at the bodice with a curved white neckline. A tan leather mini top-handle bag and bare neckline kept the frame clean, letting the shoes register as the most tactile element in the look.
The outing extends Perry’s 2025 streak of footwear-first moments. At Paris Couture Week last month, she wore Balenciaga’s flocked Space pump — a molded, seam-free stiletto from the house’s 51st couture collection — with a sharp black blazer mini.
It also positions her within a broader celebrity move toward pared-back heeled mules. Emily Ratajkowski has made repeat appearances this summer in Paris Texas’ glossy Lidia mule, styling it for both TV and streetwear. Julia Fox recently chose Saint Laurent’s pointed Romy mules for a vintage sport look in Los Angeles, leaning into their architectural line. For Perry, the Lily bridges those lanes — collaborative pedigree, collectible scarcity and a silhouette favored by her contemporaries.
