Cameron Giles, professionally known as Cam’ron, is a rapper and host. Known for his sense of humour, the rapper has been taking the internet by storm. It all started when Cam’ron shared a video of him ‘pranking’ actor, Omar Gooding for a film which does not exist. So, here is what happened.
Cam’ron hired Omar Gooding for a fake film
The rapper-turned-host recently took to Instagram and shared a video revealing how he pranked Omar Gooding. He shared that he hired the actor. However, the plot twist was that the film never existed. In the video, Cam’ron can be heard stating how he was laughing behind the scenes, and Omar prepared for the role. He added that he can now do whatever he wants with the footage, as Omar signed the papers. He was quoted as saying:
“I booked Omar to do a movie that’s never coming out like three weeks ago. Yeah, Omar. That movie that you flew down to Miami for? It ain’t no movie coming out. I booked you. And I was laughing at you behind the scenes. I was there. I was sitting there laughing at you. And you know what? Now you’re coming on Revolt tonight because you signed the paperwork. I could do whatever with the footage.”
Cam’ron to hire Omar Gooding for his goddaughter’s baby shower
In the same video, Cam’ron added that he was going to hire Omar Gooding for a baby shower and claimed that he’s going to start booking his enemies. He stated that his goddaughter was having a baby shower in October and he was going to hire Omar for it. Cam’ron shared that he would have more fun laughing at him even if it costs him money. He added:
“I’ll pay you for that too, because what I’m going to start doing is paying n—as just to laugh at them. It cost me USD 3,500 to book everything for you — the hotel, your flight, and all the other travel arrangements. It costs me USD 12,000 to USD 13,000 to go to the NBA game. I’d just rather laugh at you for USD 3,500. Be careful. This is my new show, it’s called ‘Book My Opps.'”
Omar Gooding responds to the video
Omar Gooding responded to the video with a video of his own. He added that he wanted to apologise to Cam’ron in advance for what he was about to do. He shared yet another diss, stating that ‘it’s gon’ be diabolical’, before thanking the Harlem rapper for the free trip to Miami and asking him to book him again. He added:
“Keep booking, I’ma keep spendin’ it.”

The back and forth between Omar Gooding and Cam’ron dates back to a December 2024 episode of Talk With Flee. It was during the show that Cam’ron mistakenly confused Omar Gooding with his older brother Cuba Gooding Jr. by adding the Jr. suffix after the younger Gooding’s name during a conversation with 50 Cent about certain Black actors not having consistent work unless someone like 50 hires them.
