Bipasha Basu slammed Mrunal Thakur’s judgmental comment on her
For the unversed, a video of Mrunal Thakur from her Kumkum Bhagya days has been circulating on the internet. In the clip, Mrunal was having a discussion with her co-star, and she went on to say that Bipasha is manly with muscles and showed that she was ‘better’ than her. It seems like the video reached Bipasha, who on August 13, 2025, gave a befitting reply to Mrunal’s careless words.
Bipasha took to her Instagram stories, and shared a cryptic note. She indirectly reacted to Mrunal’s careless choice of words, but gave out a great message for women of all body types, and those who love lifting weights and working on their bodies. Bipasha shared a picture note, “Strong women lift each other up.” She further added her thoughts to it, emphasising how muscles are beautiful and how women should be strong.
Bipasha further revealed that building muscles helps you get good physical and mental health. She demanded women to bust the age-old myth on how a woman should look, and wrote:
“Get those muscles beautiful ladies, we should be strong. Muscles help you attain, good physical and mental health forever! Bust the age old thought process that women should not look strong or be physically strong.”
It is worth mentioning that Bipasha has not mentioned Mrunal’s name in the cryptic note, but concluded it with a ‘love yourself’ caption. But her cryptic jibe is enough to show that Bipasha takes no nonsense.

In a throwback video, Mrunal advised her co-star to marry a woman with a strong, muscular build, after he acknowledged that women who stay fit and work out look attractive. Mrunal further told him to go marry Bipasha, and stated that she was way better than the latter. Mrunal was quoted as saying:
“Do you want to marry a girl who is manly with muscles? Go marry Bipasha. Listen, I am far better than Bipasha, ok.”
