South star, Ram Charan, is getting ready for the release of his much-anticipated movie, Peddi, in 2026, which is being directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame. The sports drama movie at the moment is in the production stage, and the latest update is that Samantha Ruth Prabhu may do an item song in the movie. Samantha and Ram had shared screenspace in Rangasthalam, and according to a 123 Telugu report, there will be a special song in the film. The report suggested that the actress has been roped in to do the item song and is also charging a bomb for the same.

Sources close to the industry told the publication that Samantha will be paid Rs. 5 crore for a single item song in Peddi. This is the amount she takes when the actress does a full-fledged role in a movie. An official announcement related to the same is expected to come out soon. Reports also said that talks are underway between Samantha and the makers and if it culminates well then Samantha and Ram will be seen together in Peddi after Rangasthalam. They had done the film back in 2018.
The charge taken by Samantha is actually the fee of any leading actress for an entire movie. If Samantha does the item song next to Ram Charan, then it is surely going to be a blockbuster as it will be a super pan-India project.
