Vice President JD Vance spoke out about the controversy that took place before he moved to the Vice President’s house, as former VP Kamala Harris ‘rebuffed’ the request of the Vance family for a house tour before they moved in. Appearing on Katie Miller’s podcast as the first guest, JD Vance said he does not clearly remember everything about the controversy. But it’s normally customary for the outgoing VP to invite the new VP for a house tour. Vance said he wanted that house tour because of his three young kids who never saw the place where they were going to be staying for the next four years. But after the request, made despite the ‘weirdness of politics’, was rebuffed, Vance said he showed his children some old diagrams and photos of the VP’s house to give them an idea. A friend in Cincinnati had a book on the VP’s residence, Vance said, adding that they showed their kids that book as well. The Vice President’s 12,000 square feet house is more beautiful than the “fishbowl” White House, Vance said. It feels like a private home, out of the public eye, Vance said.Did she leave any furniture or note behind, Katie Miller asked Vance about Kamala Harris. Vance said Kamala Harris indeed left a very nice note in the West Wing office; it was a boilerplate and nothing profound but it wished the new administration well. On something that nobody warned him about before he became the vice president, JD Vance, said he was never told that he would never be alone — going to grocery shopping or taking the dog for a walk, things that he can’t do now. JD Vance’s episode was the debut of Katie Miller as a MAGA woman podcaster. White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller’s wife Katie left her White House role to work for Elon Musk full time. But now she has left Elon Musk’s job to become a podcaster.
