Amid mounting political and legal pressure, the Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government in Punjab on Monday withdrew the controversial land pooling policy dated May 14, 2025, along with all subsequent amendments.

In a press note issued by the Principal Secretary, Department of Housing and Urban Development, it was stated that all actions taken under the policy stand reversed with immediate effect. This includes the cancellation of Letters of Intent (LOIs) issued, registrations completed, or any other measures implemented under the policy framework.

This is a developing story. It will be updated.
