    Millie Bobby Brown Debuts as Crocs’ New Global Ambassador in Campaign: ‘My Whole Childhood Was in Crocs’

    Millie Bobby Brown is entering the Crocs universe. The actress is now the face of its all-new Cozy campaign, marking the first time the brand is working with her. 

    The actress, who says she spent her entire childhood wearing Crocs, will also help debut the new Unfurgettable clog — a soft, faux fur silhouette that blends the Classic clog with cozywear.

    “I was really excited. I feel like, just from a consumer standpoint, I am a customer at Crocs,” Brown told Footwear News. “So getting that email was awesome because I really, truly feel connected with the brand. I grew up [in them], my whole childhood I was in Crocs. My siblings and I, definitely growing up on a farm, wore Crocs a lot.”

    After founding her company, Florence by Mills, in 2019, Brown is meticulous about partnering with outside brands, keeping her fans top of mind.

    “I look toward brand values and what the brand believes in, and if I believe in the same. I love Crocs because it’s just all about being yourself. It’s about self-expression and creativity, and I feel like that is everything that Crocs believes in, and it’s obviously something I’ve stood for as a person, but also within my own personal company,” she said.

    “For me, everything’s about: Does this speak to who I am? Does this speak to my demographic and my fan base?” she said. “I get really excited about doing partnerships, and when it comes across my desk, and it feels as organic as this one did, I was really excited. But also just being a customer of it, this feels so great.”

    Brown’s fans have grown up alongside her as part of a generation that celebrates and embraces self-expression and individuality. “I want them to feel like themselves and to feel whatever they feel,” she said about her fans trying the clogs. “I just love being cozy and throwing them on to run errands, go to my farm, and to walk, but I think they’re gonna come in handy for a lot of people and especially my fan base who like to self-express anyway. They’re young, and it’s definitely a cool collaboration to share with my fan base.”

    The Unfurgettable clog.

    Brown knows a thing or two about expressing support and love to other artists and brands. In October 2020, she shared her excitement about the then-new Crocs x Justin Bieber collaboration by sharing an Instagram photo of the bright yellow clogs she received pre-launch. The brand has since collaborated with multiple high fashion brands and other big names like SZA, Post Malone, Bad Bunny, Karol G and more. And now it’s her turn to add her name to the list.

    “The way they’ve elevated the brand each time with different stories and different people and different collabs, I’ve just loved it,” Brown said. “It’s been really cool to be able to work with Crocs on this collection that feels like it speaks so much to who I am and my personal style. It’s all been a dream come true.”

    The Unfurgettable clog.

    The campaign, which was shot by photographer Lillie Eiger in a charming estate in the Surrey Hills in England, introduces The Unfurgettable clog. With a faux fur upper and a sink-in soft footbed, the shoe delivers the plush embrace of a slipper. They translate easily into outdoors or any environment thanks to the versatile Croslite outsole, while the faux fur backstrap provides safety and features Jibbitz holes for personalization.
