Recently, in an interview with Curly Tales, Upasana Konidela shared glimpses of the house where she lives with her superstar husband, Ram Charan, their baby daughter, Klin Kaara and her mega-star father-in-law, Chiranjeevi Konidela, among other family members.
The Konidela residence is surrounded by greenery
The house is set in the middle of the bustling and lively city of Hyderabad, but the quiet opulence of the residence makes one easily forget the world outside. The house is painted in a muted white hue and has large glass panes for windows. This light tone of the house is perfectly accentuated by the lush green gardens and foliage that surround the house like a forest. The outdoor space, which displays the love of the couple for nature, looks like a royal garden, which goes well with the palatial house. The patio area has comfortable furniture and becomes a perfect place to sit outside and take in the beauty of the house’s exterior.

Resorts are often known for their spacious designs that blend grand interiors with elements of nature. Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela’s home also displays this feature with open windows and a French outdoor space in the common area, which gives it the feel of being a resort. When the host of the interview pointed this out to Upasana, she said:
“For me, home is holiday.”
Upasana shared glimpses of their huge dining area and expressed that it was the happiest part of the house. The table, situated under a grand chandelier, makes the space look fit for the regal Konidela family. The table also showcases printed menus for guests, planned with a lot of details. The centrepiece of the dining table displays a barrage of flowers and an elegant candelabra, which complements the white and beige tone of the space.
Antique decoration inspired by traditional South Indian homes
The beige walls of the house, bathed in warm lighting, perfectly contrast with the bold antique decor and colourful furniture. Many wooden centrepieces, lamps and other decor items are reminiscent of traditional South Indian homes and their regal charms. This antique decor is mixed in with modern-looking furniture, which complements each other very well. Along with that, potted plants can be seen everywhere in the house. From huge bonsais to a small Feng Shui bamboo plant on the teapoy, the house is brimming with green goodness in every corner.
Upasana Konidela shared her first experience of entering Ram Charan’s home
In the interview, Upasana was asked if this was the house where she first entered upon marrying Ram Charan. The entrepreneur replied that she had indeed stepped into this residence after marriage. However, the first time she visited was before their nuptials. It was when the bride-to-be and groom-to-be’s families met to discuss their wedding. Upasana candidly replied that she was too focused on the man, that is Ram Charan, when asked about her first impression of the house.

As per reports, the actor started realising his feelings for Upasana during the shooting of his film, Magadheera. And after the film was released, the couple started dating each other. After ten years of marriage, Ram Charan and Upasana announced that they were expecting a little bundle of joy. On June 20, 2023, their baby girl, Klin Kaara, was born. While announcing her unique name, the couple revealed the meaning behind it. On her social media handle, Upasana wrote that the name was taken from the Hindu mantra known as ‘Lalitha Sahasranamam’.
