One of the most loved television actresses, Hina Khan, has finally returned to work after her year-long battle with breast cancer. The beloved actress is known for her iconic roles in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and her fearless behaviour in reality shows like Bigg Boss 11 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 8. Recently, she said that even though she wants to work now, the industry is a little hesitant to work with her.
Pati Patni Aur Panga is Hina Khan’s first show after her cancer battle
The powerful actress, Hina Khan, is currently appearing on the reality show, Pati Patni Aur Panga with her husband, Rocky Jaiswal. Recently, in a candid interview with PTI, Hina revealed that she had to leave a lot of good projects because of her treatment. She also mentioned that she feels the industry is a little hesitant to work with her as they feel she has not recovered completely. In her words:
“This is my first project after the whole thing happened. I want to work. No one has directly said to me that, you’ve still not recovered completely, but I can sense that maybe people are hesitant for all the right reasons.”
She continued to say that she agrees with how the industry is thinking right now and she is determined to break that norm. In the same interview, she mentioned that she is open to auditions and will surely find something. She said:
“It’s okay. I’ll have to break that norm. Maybe the show will do it, I understand it. Had I been in their place, I would’ve thought about it a thousand times. I’m open to auditions, where did I stop? No one has called me for the last one year, for all the reasons. I’m open to everything, please call me.”
Hina Khan says Pati Patni Aur Panga is an experiment to test her health
Hina Khan with her husband, Rocky Jaiswal currently appears on the reality show, Pati Patni Aur Panga. The show also includes star couples like Rubina Dilaik-Abhinav Shukla, Avika Gor-Milind Chandwani and more. During the candid interview, Hina revealed that initially, she was unsure about the show due to her health, but so far she is managing it well. According to her, this reality show is like an experiment, to see whether she can handle the workload or not. She said:
“It was a big step for me to take up the show and it was an experiment as far as my health is concerned, like whether I’ll be able to do it or not. So far so good, I get tired a bit, but apart from that, everything is fine. I’m ready to take up anything, be it a digital show, or anything, I would not take up long term commitment. If anything is offered , if they find me worthy enough, then why not.”
Hina Khan wants to explore the spy universe
The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress revealed that she wants to play a spy agent either on OTT or in any film. She mentioned that she wants to explore the spy universe and is manifesting that someday she gets to do a role as a spy agent.
