Bigg Boss 19 will have a grand premiere in August 2025. While the fans are super excited to see a new set of drama unfold, buzz is rife about who will enter this season. Amidst it, reports claim that Pahalgam terror attack victim’s widow, Himanshi Narwal, has also been approached for the reality show.

According to reports, there is a diverse line-up of contestants for this year’s reality show, and one of them is Himanshi Narwal, wife of a Pahalgam terror attack victim. She was also a college mate of Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner, Elvish Yadav. As per a report by Telly Chakkar, the makers were thinking of considering her participation for the show to add a reality touch to the show. A source said:
“Makers want to rope in a few people who would connect with the viewers instantly, and thus there were discussions to get Himanshi Narwal on board for Bigg Boss 19. However, there’s no confirmation regarding the same.”
However, as soon as the buzz surfaced, several social media handles claimed that Himanshi has not been approached, and she is not going to participate in the reality show, hosted by Salman Khan.

For the unversed, Himanshi made headlines earlier this year due to the terror attack. Himanshi, who got married to Navy Officer, Viany Narwal, was killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. The newly-married Himanshi was on her honeymoon with Vinay when the unfortunate incident turned her life upside down. Photos of Himanshi mourning beside her husband went viral, and it was a heartwrenching glimpse that left the entire nation in shock. It is one of the reasons why the Indian Government named the army airstrike — Operation Sindoor.
Celebrities who might enter Bigg Boss 19
As Bigg Boss’ another exciting season will soon premiere, and fans are anticipating the contestants. There were reports that Hunar Hale, whose divorce buzz with Mayank Gandhi is circulating, might have participated in the reality show. Not only her, Dhanashree Verma, Apoorva Mukhija, Mr. Faisu, Meera Deosthale, and Bhavika Sharma are also approached for this season.
Every year, there is a new theme that is followed in Bigg Boss, and celebrity contestants have to follow the same rules according to the themes. This year’s theme is Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar. It also indicated that the power will shift inside the house. In other words, there won’t be a captain, but the power will be shared among everyone. It is worth adding that the contestants’ list has not yet been confirmed by the makers, and it still is a surprise for the viewers, like every year. In the teaser, Salman, who is back as the host, was seen imitating a politician. He even had a unique gesture of saying namaste. In the teaser, he revelaed that housemates would rule this season. He said:
“Dosto aur dushmano ho jao taiyaar, kyunki is baar hogi gharwalo ki sarkaar. Too much fun hone wala hai yaar.”
